Roger started his professional career in Birmingham in the early 1970s and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 1976. The practice in which he trained had a wide range of owner managed businesses, mainly involved in the engineering sector.

After several years as an Audit Manager, Roger grasped the opportunity to take a two year secondment to the Isle of Man. That was in 1983 and he is still here.

Starting virtually from scratch, Roger grew the business to its current size with 4 principals and approximately 20 full time staff.

As well as acting as Managing Director, Roger has focused on Audit and Assurance services for a diverse portfolio including work within the Insurance and Finance Sector. This has lead to several non executive appointments which give plenty of variety and challenges.

In 1994-95 Roger was President of the Isle of Man Society of Chartered Accountants.

In his spare time Roger enjoys travelling, motor sport and gardening. He is Treasurer of Rally Isle of Man Limited and also yearns to revalidate his private pilots licence when time permits.
